Clearance Broker
We are excited to offer a position in our Customs Clearance team.
Responsibilities
* Review shipment data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and check accuracy of documentation.
* Use in-house systems to create accurate, legally compliant clearance declarations.
* Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
* Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
* Build effective relationships with customers and help them choose the best suited clearance services.
* Work within tight time frames in a busy office environment.
Qualifications
* Good teamwork and experience contributing in a busy office environment.
* Knowledge of clearance principles, import/export processes, and regulatory requirements; experience with CHIEF entries and commercial flight processing is desired.
* Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions within tight deadlines.
* Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
* Recent Advanced Customs Knowledge or a certificate of qualification (Customs Representative) – mandatory requirement.
