As Sales Coordinator, you will help translate this vision into excellent commercial execution across El Corte Inglés stores and selected retail partners in Spain, ensuring consistent brand representation, operational efficiency and strong in‐store training.
Let's Talk About the Role
This role provides essential support to the Area Sales Manager across all commercial, operational and analytical activities in the Spanish retail market. You will manage the day‐to‐day coordination with ECI and other retail partners, ensuring excellence in execution, sell‐through tracking, order management, communication flow and retail training programs. A key part of the role is delivering brand and product training sessions to store staff, elevating in‐store knowledge and consumer experience.
How You Will Make a Difference
Commercial support for ECI & wholesale partners
Support the Area Sales Manager in managing the commercial relationship with El Corte Inglés and selected retailers.
Coordinate assortments, order follow‐up, seasonal planning and business analysis.
Prepare commercial sell‐in materials, product decks and presentation.
Ensure pricing, promotions and merchandising guidelines are followed consistently in stores.
Sales operations & execution excellence
Oversee the full order lifecycle: order entry, validation, delivery tracking and issue resolution.
Maintain updated product information: SKUs, EANs, assortments, campaign materials.
Coordinate seasonal changes, marketing activations and in‐store materials (PLV) deployment.
Act as the operational link between stores, Customer Service, Planning and Marketing.
Sales analytics & performance reporting
Track weekly sell‐out performance for ECI and retail partners.
Analyse KPIs such as stock levels, margins, rotation, pricing integrity and returns.
Recommend commercial and operational actions.
Prepare monthly and seasonal business reports for management.
Store training & education programs
Deliver regular in‐store training sessions.
Support the creation of training materials and tools.
Ensure store staff are fully prepared to represent Altra.
Evaluate training impact and propose improvements.
Internal coordination & cross‐functional alignment
Ensure store execution aligns fully with brand guidelines and seasonal priorities.
Provide insights from the field to support strategic decisions.
Skills for Success
University degree (Business, Economics, Marketing or similar).
Experience in sales coordination, retail operations or similar roles.
Experience delivering in‐store training or staff education.
Strong analytical skills and Excel competency.
Organized, structured and capable of handling multiple deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Professional English level (desired).
Passion for sports and preferably running.
