You are responsible for all kinds of breeding tasks such as monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the various selection and variety trials, both at home and abroad. You are additionally involved in planning and organising the breeding activities and further improving them where necessary. Besides making a contribution within your own team, you also work in close collaboration with other departments such as crop care, production and sales/marketing. Ultimately, the best varieties are chosen for our customers in conjunction with the local sales teams.**Requisitos**:**We are looking for **Breeder with**:- At least 5 years’ experience in this position- Master or Phd in Breeding- You are interested in and have an affinity with the horticultural sector- You have a good command of the English languageFurthermore, you have a passion for genetics, work with a high level of accuracy, have a keen eye for detail and take a pragmatic approach. You enjoy analysing data and looking for creative solutions. You have good organisational skills and are able to maintain a clear overview. You like being part of a team but can also work well autonomously. You are a strong communicator and have a consultative decision-making style. Additionally, you are able to assess the value of new breeding concepts and to translate them into feasible breeding projects.
