Graduate Visual UI Designer
Join Canonical as a Visual UI Designer and help turn complex, open-source software into intuitive products.
What this role looks like
* Work on web projects with a multidisciplinary team of visual, UX designers, engineers and researchers.
* Design brand experiences across events, offices, digital and social assets.
* Translate current design thinking into polished visual work that aligns with Ubuntu and Canonical brands.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring ideas to life and iterate based on user feedback.
What we’re looking for
* Excellent academic record.
* Bachelor’s or equivalent in Art / Design.
* Exceptional design talent with experience in branding, visual identities and brand experiences.
* Strong knowledge and passion for user experience, technology and design.
* Commitment to continuous learning – curious, flexible, scientific.
* Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, or Penpot.
* Experience in web standards, typography, colour, layout, usability, accessibility.
Location & Working model
This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.
