Role SummaryWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced AWS Technical Consultant to join our AWS services team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth plans. These plans aim to solidify our position as a leading global Services partner with AWS. Technical Consultants are expected to routinely act as the lead on large scale, complex projects and provide mentoring to their fellow technical consultants. Our Technical Consultants provide post-sales technical consultancy, undertake delivery and implementation engagements, as well as providing pre-sales qualification and design to consultancy engagements. A typical AWS Technical Consultant will have had five or more years’ experience in a technical consulting type role, with an excellent understanding and experience of delivering AWS centric solutions.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork in close collaboration with the local AWS sales and technical team, along with the Regional Service Centre.Undertake consultancy assignments or work on projects analyzing customer requirements, data, and recommending solutions.Manage assessment, design, and implementation of solutions.Ensure quality and consistency in consultancy assignments.Highlight technical risks to minimize exposure to commercial loss.Deliver against vendor programs including OLA, MAP, and WAFR.Produce and update assignment documentation.Ensure successful handover to support teams.Provide technical support for internal and external customers.Lead and present at customer opportunities and workshops.Pre-Sales, Scoping, and Services DevelopmentLead or participate in customer scoping calls and workshops.Contribute to Statement of Works.Build awareness of internal SMEs areas of expertise.Identify other service and sales opportunities.Support development of AWS services propositions, solutions, and GTM strategies.Qualify designs and opportunities.Personal Skills DevelopmentActive member of the regional AWS technical community.Maintain relationships with channel partners and internal teams.Stay updated with current and future technologies.Build skills in chosen areas and maintain vendor certifications.Develop consultative skills and industry networks.Qualifications and ExperienceAWS Professional / Specialty Certification.3+ years experience in AWS complex cloud environments.Experience with AWS Optimization Licensing and Assessment, Migration Acceleration Program, and Well-Architected Framework.Knowledge of compute services, monitoring tools, CI/CD tools, IaC tools, container orchestration, networking, and migration strategies.Five or more years in a technical consulting role.Excellent communication skills in English and local language.Leadership, networking, and problem-solving abilities.Similar Jobs (1)AWS Technical Account Manager locations 2 Locations time type Full time posted on Posted TodayWith us, you’ll make technology happen in surprising ways.
