JOB PURPOSE
The European IT Infrastructure Network team is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi networks of our organization. This includes installing and configuring networks, diagnosing hardware and software faults, supporting end-users, troubleshooting issues, providing training, and administering production infrastructure. The role involves supporting users and the business across multiple locations, either remotely or in person. Travel to other sites may be required.

EMEA Network support specialists ensure the smooth operation of computer networks and maximize user benefits. Responsibilities include:
* Installing and configuring network hardware
* Supporting and rolling out new infrastructure
* Monitoring and maintaining systems and networks
* Assisting staff and clients via face-to-face or remote support
* Troubleshooting network and system issues
* Replacing hardware components as needed
* Providing procedural documentation and reports
* Following diagrams and instructions for repairs and setup
* Responding promptly to support calls
* Managing multiple cases simultaneously
* Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Testing and evaluating new technologies
KEY RESULT AREAS
* Managing switch infrastructure
* Managing Wide Area Network infrastructure
* Implementing changes and upgrades according to procedures
* Delivering high-quality work within agreed service levels
* Supporting regional teams in daily operations and projects
* Maintaining up-to-date network documentation
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
* Extensive networking experience, including routing, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi
* At least 3 years of experience with Cisco networks, switches, and routers
* Experience with network deployments and upgrades
* Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN solutions, including Viptela setup and deployment
* Experience with Meraki Wi-Fi setup and deployment
* Familiarity with Cisco DNA and other Cisco solutions
* Proficiency with Windows operating systems
* Desirable: Zscaler knowledge
* Experience with server infrastructure, Azure, and cloud technologies
* Experience with ITIL ticketing systems and ServiceNow
* Knowledge of Office and Office365
* Experience with user management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
* Managing file and print servers, application servers, and production systems
* Working knowledge of SolarWinds or similar tools
