Overview
The Operational Performance Team at Airbus Helicopters seeks a proactive Project Manager to lead transformation initiatives that bridge the gap between high‐level cloud strategy and daily operational excellence. The role will serve as the "engine of change" within the Hosting Control Tower, ensuring infrastructure evolves without compromising the stability of daily operations.
Responsibilities
1. Transformation & Lifecycle Management
Lead the end‐to‐end decommissioning and upgrade projects for unsupported hardware, operating systems, and databases targeted at MAR Data Centers and legacy stacks.
Drive migration projects and integrate "Sovereign Cloud" solutions into the standard operational catalog.
Transform technical debt data into actionable project roadmaps in partnership with the team.
2. Service Evolution & Automation
Act as Project Manager for the Self‐Service Portal, coordinating design and automation teams to launch new automated service lines.
Lead Lean projects to optimize repetitive operational tasks, reducing manual lead times for customers.
3. Stakeholder & Supplier Synergy
Serve as the primary PM interface for Product Service Lines to ensure hosting requirements are met during major application deployments.
Lead task forces with subcontractors to resolve systemic performance bottlenecks or implement new contractual service levels.
Support projects that improve showback visibility and cloud cost‐optimization initiatives.
4. Resilience & Cyber‐Readiness
Manage the implementation of the Isolation & Recovery Environment and coordinate multi‐domain ransomware recovery simulations.
Deploy self‐healing capabilities within the monitoring ecosystem.
Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree level in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
10 years of proven experience in IT Project Management within a production/Run environment (Infrastructure, Cloud, or DataCenter scope).
Strong knowledge of ITIL v4, Prince2/PMP, and Agile methodologies; Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Experience managing technical subcontractors and enforcing deliverables.
Diplomatic, persuasive, and crisis‐robust, able to influence both technical experts and business stakeholders.
Fluent English; French and German are a plus.
