The SAP Security Architect (m / f / d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with corporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
1. Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures, covering access control, data protection, and threat mitigation.
2. Define and enforce SAP security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization in alignment with the Information Security Framework.
3. Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls within SAP environments based on risk.
4. Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions.
5. Identify and drive security enhancements in SAP platforms (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori).
6. Collaborate closely with SAP development, engineering, IT operations, and compliance teams to embed security throughout the SAP lifecycle.
7. Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with stakeholders.
8. Contribute to the Corporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices.
9. Stay current with SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's / Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity focusing on SAP environments.
3. Preferred certificates include CISSP, CISM, or SAP certifications.
4. Proficiency in English; German and French are a plus.
5. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
6. Deep expertise in SAP security best practices, including user and role management, authorization concepts, and secure configuration.
7. In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, ECC, and other SAP modules and their security implications.
8. Experience designing secure architectures for cloud-based and on-premise SAP deployments.
9. Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
