Senior Internal Audit ConsultantThe opportunityAs part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk Internal Audit team, you will participate in client engagements related to Internal Audit, Process Compliance and Reviews, SOX 404 Reviews, Development of Standard Operating Procedures manuals & Enterprise Risk Management.Based in our EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have the chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the latest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solutions and participate in digital transformation.Your key responsibilitiesDevelop strong working relationships with clients.Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.Apply solution-based problem solving during client engagements and document work processes.Identify process gaps and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.Mentor and coach junior team members to help them meet performance goals and develop their careers.Ensure compliance with risk management strategies and activities of the firm.Skills and attributes for successConsulting mindset and commercial acumenExcellent communication and negotiation skills with a collaborative management approachTo qualify for the role, you must haveBachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Economics, or similar3-6 years of experience in Internal Audit, Analytics in Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Compliance, SOX, ERM, TPRM, ESG Reporting, IT General ControlsExceptional command of spoken and written English (C1)Advanced command of spoken and written Italian, and/or German, and/or FrenchHigh proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, data analysis, and validation skillsIdeally, you will also haveProject Management skillsProblem-solving skillsAbility to think innovatively and differentlyWhat we look forWe seek a proactive professional who works effectively in an international team, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members.
