We are looking for a dedicated, versatile, and hands-on HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team in Barcelona.
In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of HR activities across both corporate and local initiatives, with a strong focus on applying Spanish labour law in practice and supporting compliant employment frameworks. This position requires solid HR experience in Spain, including practical, hands-on knowledge of Spanish labour law and direct involvement in employment contract management and employee relations matters.
The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 3–5 years of experience in similar roles, including end-to-end recruitment, broader HR processes, navigating labour law topics with pragmatic judgement. and a strong interest in developing across the full HR function.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
Collaborate effectively with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand staffing needs and define recruitment strategies
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment reporting
Manage onboarding activities, ensuring all employment contracts, documentation, and processes are compliant with Spanish labour law
Support the drafting, review, and formalisation of employment agreements and contractual documentation, coordinating with external legal counsel where needed
Provide day-to-day support on employee relations topics, including disciplinary processes, performance issues, and conflict resolution, ensuring alignment with Spanish legislation and company policies
Act as a reliable point of contact for managers on labour law application in practical situations, escalating and aligning with Legal when appropriate
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Spanish labour law and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain a compliant and scalable HR framework
Support HR engagement, training, and performance management processes
Provide general HR guidance to employees and managers
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. Direct contract with the company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Mandatory: 3–5 years of HR experience in Spain, with strong exposure to local HR practices and frameworks
Solid, hands-on knowledge of Spanish labour law, with proven experience applying it in real situations (contracts, disciplinary processes, terminations, compliance)
Experience supporting or drafting employment contracts and HR documentation (in collaboration with legal where needed)
Proven experience in HR generalist roles, ideally within international or multicultural environments
Experience managing the full recruitment cycle independently, including onboarding
Proactive, hands-on mindset with a willingness to operate across the full HR spectrum
