R&d team leader – digital station & power systems (madrid)

Overview Lead the evolution of the Digital Station and Power Manager (DSPM) within the R&D; division. Coordinate diverse teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that manage and supervise critical rail energy infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of development and evolution for the DSPM product.

Manage the product development budget, ensuring efficiency and alignment with goals.

Oversee planning, tracking scope, timelines, costs, quality, and risks.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across different countries to achieve shared objectives.

Manage interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with technical requirements, rail regulations, cybersecurity, and quality standards.

Support the definition and execution of the product roadmap.

Collaborate on technical offers and economic estimates to guarantee competitive solutions.

Qualifications

A university degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar).

Proven experience leading software or system development projects.

Familiarity with industrial digital solutions, SCADA systems, or energy-related platforms.

Knowledge of project management methodologies, whether Classic, Agile, or Hybrid.

Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders.

Fluency in English and Spanish to navigate an international environment.

Preferred

Experience in the railway sector, specifically in critical infrastructure or control systems.

Knowledge of SCADA, electrical stations, or power systems in rail or energy environments.

Familiarity with WinCC OA or other industrial platforms.

Background in critical or high-availability systems.

Certifications such as PMP, IPMA, or SAFe.
