Applications & Infrastructure, the largest group within CSS, provides timely technical expertise to Microsoft's commercial customers and partners, enabling global, cross-cloud solutions that empower organizations worldwide.
We are seeking passionate individuals for the role of Technical Support Engineer. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues, enhancing your problem-solving, collaboration, and technical skills. This position offers the flexibility to work up to 100% remotely.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience in Customer Support, Technical Consulting, or Software Development, or equivalent.
* Application development and debugging skills in languages/frameworks such as Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, .NET Core, ASP.NET, WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
* Understanding of programming concepts like call stacks, threading, synchronization, and debugging.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience troubleshooting Windows IIS, Linux, Containers, Azure Web Apps, or Docker images.
* Deep knowledge of open-source web technologies: Linux, NGINX, Apache, Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby.
* Skills in network troubleshooting or Active Directory authentication.
* Familiarity with packet sniffers (e.g., Wireshark) and debugging tools (e.g., Windbg, Visual Studio).
Language Requirements
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
Security Screening
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years.
