Additional languages a plus. /ppbr/ppRole Summary /ppThe Air Cargo Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for air cargo sales, maximizing revenue and market share across assigned territories and accounts. The role acts as the primary point of contact between airlines, freight forwarders, shippers, and internal operations teams. /ppbr/ppKey Responsibilities /ppCommercial Sales /pp• Develop and implement cargo sales strategies to achieve revenue and tonnage targets. /pp• Identify, prospect, and acquire new freight forwarder and shipper accounts. /pp• Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts (FF, integrators, brokers). /pp• Negotiate rates, space allocations, and commercial agreements. /pp• Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and market activations. /pp• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics. /ppOperational Coordination /pp• Coordinate with operations and handling teams to ensure service delivery commitments. /pp• Liaise with airline partners (GSSA or direct) on capacity, schedules, and special cargo needs. /pp• Follow up on bookings, shipment status, and document management. /pp• Support claims handling and resolve customer service issues proactively. /ppReporting Planning /pp• Prepare sales forecasts, weekly activity reports, and performance dashboards. /pp• Participate in budget planning and revenue projections. /pp• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to management. /ppbr/ppRequirements Qualifications /ppEssential /pp• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in air cargo sales or GSSA environment. /pp• Solid network of freight forwarders and key accounts in Spain. /pp• Strong knowledge of air freight products (general cargo, express, special cargo, charter). /pp• Familiarity with IATA regulations, AWB processes, and cargo documentation. /pp• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. /pp• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). /ppDesirable /pp• Experience with Middle East airline routes and Asian cargo markets. /pp• Knowledge of handling agents and CTOs at MAD. /pp• Experience supporting new airline launches in Europe. /pp• Proficiency in Cargo Management Systems (e.g., Cargospot, Unisys, Hermes). /ppbr/ppCore Competencies /pp• Results-driven with strong commercial acumen. /pp• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. /pp• Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset. /pp• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. /pp• Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills. /pp• Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic industry environment. /ppbr/ppWhat We Offer /pp• Competitive salary package + performance-based incentives. /pp• International work environment within a growing cargo network. /pp• Career development opportunities within the GSSA / airline industry. /pulliFlexible working arrangements where applicable. /li /ulpbr/ppIndustry /pulliAirlines and Aviation /li /ulpbr/ppEmployment Type /ppFull-time /p
