The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process aims to transform business decision making that will result in profitable and sustainable growth balancing strategic, financial and operational objectives. It is a cross-functional, rolling planning process integrating product, marketing, sales, supply chain and finance into one aligned plan for the business through a global standard. This single set of numbers leverages next generation orchestration and analytic technology coupled with data and digital savvy PepsiCo talent, and an enabling decision-support tool, ensuring agile and fast decision-making to take us to the next level above the competition. IBP goes beyond supply & demand matching; it is a leap forward for the business, enabling faster, more coordinated and more informed decision making with increased visibility from supplier to customer. It is action-oriented and focused on the business across weekly Sales & Operations Execution (iS&OE;), Period Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP;), and Yearly Strategic Planning.
Global IBP: Demand Planning Excellence Team
The Demand Planning Excellence Team is accountable for the design, deployment, sustainment and evolution of the Demand Planning and Forecasting Global Processes, Organizational Design, Tool requirements and Systems Architecture requirements. We are advocates for the value of IBP and will support global, regional and local teams to build awareness of the global IBP and Demand Planning and Forecasting templates.
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to elevate Demand Planning capability across People, Process & Technology together with the rest of the Demand Planning Excellence team by guiding and supporting global product team and Demand Planning teams across regions/markets with best practices to drive results and deliver value.
The Demand Planning Excellence Manager will implement and manage a Demand Planning Community of Practice in addition to maintain a Maturity Model and assess periodically and audit maturity levels across region and markets, identifying areas of opportunity, and best practices to share and implement across the CoP. Main responsibilities for the role are:
Global Demand Planning Community of Practice and Maturity Lead:
- Stablish, manage and facilitate the Community of Practice sessions (monthly).
- Global Demand Planning Playbook adoption globally.
- Identification and documentation of Demand Planning Archetypes (o9, PGT, BY..).
- Maintenance and enhancement of Demand Planning and Forecasting Maturity Model.
- Periodical maturity assessment execution, auditing results, calibration and identifying best practices.
- Identify and showcase internal & external best practice in the CoP.
- Coaching BU/Sectors to help improve process maturity.
- Internal & External Benchmarking of KPIs.
- Identify and address common pain points, process and solution gaps.
- Facilitating target setting of KPIs and process maturity on annual basis and support roadmap creation to close gaps.
- Drive behavioral change to deliver successful outcomes within and beyond CoP.
- Develop and identify Demand Planning talent in the user community.
Support to Live Markets – Continuous Improvement:
- Processes, and capabilities continuous improvement focused on EMEA/APAC live markets.
- Forecasting Analyst EMEA/APAC Team Management and Development: ensure they work as per standard process/tools, manage their support on regular / ad-hoc analysis and improvement plans development to support IBP improvements.
- DP Performance tracking and reporting.
Support DP E2E Design Lead:
- Lead/support the analysis, design and development of specific areas within DP and Forecasting and o9.
- Troubleshoot/Target specific problems/improvements outside of CoP sessions.
- DP Playbook and Process Updates Documentation.
- Reporting Tool (DP / Forecasting Design and CI).
- Support L&D; teams to maintain the specific global DP functional training content.
- Participate and contribute in the Change Request / Design Approval processes as needed (CAB, IDC, DAB…).
- Function as a integral o9 super user to deliver support and training on Demand planning related processes and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Holder of both a Bachelor’s and Master’ degree (preferably with studies in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance). Having an MBA is a plus.
- 2+ years PEP experience is a plus.
- 5+ years' experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
- Experience in forecasting models and typical time series forecasting approaches.
- Understanding of data science driver-based forecasting techniques preferred.
- Strong advocate of global IBP/DP/Forecasting design.
- Recognized as a strong change agent: Cross Market (indirect) influence.
- Complex Transformation Programs experience, consulting experience would be an advantage.
- 5+ years in the FMCG industry.
- Confident presenter and good facilitator.
- Strong in both strategic and analytical thinking.
- Strong in organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good business acumen with results orientation.
- High level of executive maturity.
- Ability to generate consensus via strong network & collaborations skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and/or Demand planning/IBP systems specially o9. BY or SAP IBP are a plus.

- Self-starter able to manage your own schedule in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in commercial planning, financial planning, S&OP;, S&OE; and supply planning, is a plus.
- Computer literate with excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Demand Planning Tools (BY, SAP IBP/APO…) and its implementation is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP and/or commercial planning/IBP systems is a plus (e.g. SAP, TPM, O9).
- Native / bilingual proficiency or full professional proficiency in English.
