Job Purpose:
To drive the implementation of business development strategies across South Spain, originating and closing new business opportunities while developing our security solutions.
Job Context:
Reporting to Country Manager, Spain & Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
* To effectively plan, manage, and implement new business opportunities in line with country manager directives from origination to closing.
* To assist the country manager by implementing regional sales, BD, and vertical market strategy in line with European and HQ directives.
* To communicate and coordinate with the sales organization to efficiently manage Hanwha Vision Sales Ecosystem.
* To assist in the implementation of directives to achieve company regional business development targets.
* To work closely with design agencies to develop complete security solutions for customers.
* To develop key relationships with clients and grow the client base in line with company strategies.
* To deliver technical customer training and provide on-site support at all levels.
* To plan and implement sales and customer retention and development in line with company drives and initiatives.
* To attend project meetings with the European sales team.
* To analyze, evaluate, and manage the effectiveness of business opportunities, methods, costs, and results.
* To report on all BD activities throughout the regions.
* To monitor and report upon CRM analysis.
* To promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
* To assist and support Hanwha Vision Technical and Marketing departments in identifying and creating new offerings.
* To maintain and develop the company's image and reputation at all times.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in CCTV or IT.
* Extensive experience within key design agencies, prescriptions, systems integrators.
* Knowledge of third-party products, protocols, and associated technologies.
* Industry-related qualifications or a business or technical degree-level education is advantageous.
* Intermediate and advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
* Ability to develop strong relationships with internal directors, colleagues, and key clients.
* Independent thinking and good judgment.
* Motivation of teams to achieve targets.
* Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
* Clear and concise communication on all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Clean driving license.
Performance Measurement:
* Business Development Managers' performance is measured based on:
* Project order intake in assigned vertical and regional markets.
* Average project order size in assigned vertical and regional markets.
* Contribution to overall regional business performance.
Location:
The jobholder will be field-based, with extensive travel within South Spain (Andalusia) and occasional travel outside of Spain, including Madrid.
