Microsoft 365 Development Manager
Position Purpose:
JTI’s Microsoft and Mobility Delivery Center is looking for a Development Manager to support the growing internal demand for corporate solutions based on the Microsoft ecosystem.
The successful candidate is a fast learner, results-driven professional and Microsoft technology specialist with relevant knowledge on the Microsoft 365 stack from an extensibility perspective, ranging from SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises to Microsoft Graph and the Microsoft Power Platform. She/He also demonstrates a good understanding of Azure and its PaaS offering. In parallel with a consistent technical acumen on those areas, the successful candidate is a seasoned manager able to successfully drive a team of software engineers to deliver on strategic software projects focusing on providing business value to our counterparts.
You are expected to join a team of software developers, architects & M365 engineers using the latest Microsoft technologies, in particular in the space of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform. She/He will work closely with peers and collaborate with IT & business stakeholders worldwide using Agile methodologies as part of your delivery strategy.
What will you do – responsibilities:
1. Bring your expertise to manage the development activities in the area of collaboration solutions built on top of the Microsoft stack, ensuring the highest level of delivery quality.
2. Manage the relationship with our preferred service providers, granting that the agreed service levels are fulfilled and helping to build a trustful and mutually beneficial partnership.
3. Boost the adoption of the more innovative technologies that are part of the Collaboration Team portfolio, both internally and for the rest of our JTI stakeholders.
4. Be a trustworthy source of valuable support and guidance to the global JTI business units on the technological landscape of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform
Who are we looking for – requirements:
5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
6. 8+ years experience in Information Technology, preferably in international corporations
7. Deep understanding on the Microsoft Technology Stack. Ability to envision, architect and compose technical solutions using modern paradigms
8. Proficiency in SharePoint Online/on-prem, Microsoft Power Platform and Azure PaaS (LogicApps, Azure Functions,...)
9. Demonstrated background on successfully managing mid and large enterprise-level software projects based on Microsoft technologies
10. Good conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience on agile software delivery methodologies
11. Very strong analytical skills
12. Team player mindset with a proved ability to work in a highly dynamic and changing environment with a consistent value driven orientation
13. Fluent in speaking and written English. Spanish or other language is a plus
14. Technical certifications are considered an advantage
