What are we looking for?
We seek a motivated, client-oriented Project Manager to join our growing pharmaceutical team. The candidate will manage moderately large or complex projects requiring proven project management skills. Experience in biotechnology, fermentation, and upstream/downstream processes is preferable. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of projects mainly related to drug development, including generics and APIs.
The challenge!
* Assist in managing and executing projects related to the development and commercialization of APIs and drug products.
* Understand and align internal and external customer needs with Chemo’s strategic guidelines.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, patents, and sales to meet project timelines, budgets, and objectives.
* Evaluate project characteristics, processes, and create/manage schedules, timelines, costs, and documentation. Plan milestones and assign owners.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
* Participate in meetings with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Effective communication with clients and partners is essential.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, issues, or delays, and develop mitigation or contingency plans.
* Manage project budgets and address deviations.
* Develop and maintain systems for communication and control, such as CRM and BI.
* Review project plans, status, and budgets for short- and mid-term planning.
What do you need?
* University Degree in Life Sciences or related field; a Master’s is a plus.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
* Over 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of biotechnology processes, drug development, and regulatory requirements; PMP certification is a plus.
* Willingness to travel worldwide.
* Strong interpersonal skills, impact and influence, positive work environment, proactive risk management, adaptability, and customer focus.
