The Group Consolidation Manager leads and manages the financial consolidation process. The role ensures the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and ICFR (equivalent to SOX) standards. This position reports to the CFO of Noatum Maritime Services and is an integral part of the finance team, ensuring operational continuity and maintaining service quality. The role supports internal and external stakeholders—including senior management, shareholders, and the finance team of a listed group—by delivering high-quality financial reporting. The position also owns the statutory consolidation process at the Spanish entity level, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with group-wide financial practices.
Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly financial close and consolidation process of financial data for all group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS.
Prepare consolidated financial statements and related reports for management and external stakeholders, including quarterly audit requirements.
Coordinate and review input from local finance teams, providing guidance, support, and oversight as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal control over financial reporting (ICFR Compliance).
Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits, ensuring timely responses and high-quality deliverables.
Review dividends, loans and other intercompany transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment and disclosure and perform elimination entries for intercompany balances.
Perform the consolidation of spreadsheets including notes and disclosures to ensure accuracy and completeness for external reporting purposes.
Maintain a strong understanding of statutory financial statement requirements.
Strategic Responsibilities Stakeholder Communication : Liaise directly with the subcluster CFO and the finance team of the parent company, providing regular updates and analysis.
M&A Integration : Oversee the integration of newly acquired companies, including purchase price allocation, accounting treatment, and consolidation adjustments. Ensure accurate accounting for minority interests and manage acquisition and disposal processes.
Key Consolidation Adjustments : Prepare key consolidation adjustments such as goodwill, purchase price allocation, fair value accounting, and Employee Share Option Schemes.
Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement of consolidation systems, reporting tools, and processes. Implement automated reporting solutions.
Policy Management : Maintain and update consolidation policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
IFRS Compliance Monitoring : Keep abreast of changes in IFRS and ensure the company's consolidation practices remain compliant.
Policy Documentation : Partner with the Accounting & Controlling team to document relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest standards.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
ROAC, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
Up to 6 years of relevant experience in controlling / accounting / audit and at least 3 years in group consolidation, external reporting and audit coordination.
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
French is valuable.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling).
Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Navision, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, Oracle FCCS.
Solid understanding of IFRS and ICFR / SOX frameworks.
Proven background in M&A accounting and post-deal integration.
Strong working knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting systems.
Ability to implement and optimize automated reporting solutions.
Comfortable working with large datasets and financial models.
Experience in group financial consolidation, external reporting and audit coordination.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-border finance teams.
Exposure to listed company environments and strict reporting deadlines.
Experience with multi-currency consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
