Headhunter – Advanced Technologies at Clarion Chase
We exclusively represent a leading semiconductor organisation that is investing heavily in its European market expansion across several industry verticals.
The business is a globally recognised high-volume manufacturer of power semiconductors, producing IGBTs, bipolar modules, thyristors and diodes.
They seek to increase their sales team by hiring experienced, well-connected new business sales professionals to increase their market share.
This is a position suited to candidates with longstanding experience in developing new business from scratch. This is not a position where you can sit back and watch the business come in; they require proactive new business professionals to grow their share amongst a select few industries.
We are managing 3 Business Development positions, each requiring specific market knowledge listed below.
Required experience
* Experience selling power semiconductor technologies: IGBT modules, Bipolar devices, power assemblies, thyristors and or diodes
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in a new business development capacity
* The ability to identify new opportunities and secure revenue from them
* A proven track record of strategising and identifying where revenue will come from to achieve and exceed targets
Experience with one of the following markets/industries
* European HVDC ecosystem, working with utilities, EPC contractors, converter OEMs, engineering consultancies and regulatory bodies.
* Identifying opportunities in high‑voltage power electronics, grid infrastructure or related high‑power conversion sectors, grid interconnection, renewable energy integration, offshore wind and long‑distance power transmission projects.

* Develop strategic relationships with traction OEMs, propulsion system integrators including locomotives, EMUs, DMUs, metros and next‑generation propulsion technologies
* Developed network across companies such as Siemens Mobility, Alstom, Stadler, CAF, Hitachi Rail and key system integrators
or
* Experience with inverter manufacturers, renewable EPC contractors, wind and solar OEMs, BESS integrators, utilities, and engineering partners.
* Identification of sales opportunities in solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, energy‑storage systems, hybrid plants, hydrogen infrastructure, and grid‑connected converter stations.
