We are currently recruiting for the position of Regional Account Manager for one of our key clients.

About client: a global powerhouse in the modified materials industry, providing cutting‑edge solutions for the automotive sector. With a production capacity exceeding 600,000 tons annually, they operate nine major production bases across China, the USA, Thailand, and Mexico. Driven by rapid global expansion and the successful launch of its first European production plant in Poland, the company is significantly increasing its presence in the region. Consequently, the organization is opening new recruitment opportunities to expand its professional teams.

Location: Spain (home‑office based role with high mobility across the region)


Key Responsibilities

* Market Expansion: Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the automotive supply chain (OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2), seek opportunities for applications using PP, PA, PC/ABS and other modified polymer granulates.
* Customer Relations: Act as the primary contact for key accounts, building long‑term relationships, ensure timely response to customer inquiries, complaints and technical request.
* Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle, from initial inquiry and sampling to validation and SOP. Follow up on product approvals (PPAP, IMDS, OEM specification compliance).
* Technical Consulting: Identify applications for polymer granulates and provide technical support based on customer needs.
* Commercial Negotiations: Prepare quotations, negotiate contract terms, and manage pricing strategies in response to market fluctuations.
* Sales Strategy: Develop sales forecasts, monitor competitor trends, and achieve defined growth targets.
* Post‑Sales Support: Oversee order execution and resolve delivery or quality issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.


Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in sales or account management within the polymer compounding industry, specifically serving the automotive sector.
* Strong understanding of the automotive supply chain and familiarity with engineering plastics (PP, PA, PC/ABS).
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
* Self‑driven, proactive, and result‑oriented personality with a high level of professional responsiveness.
* Willingness to travel frequently for business meetings and site visits.
* Fluency in English and Spanish.
