We are looking for a Scientific Training & Talent Development Specialist to help us strengthen our internal training culture, develop talent and support the growth of our teams.

About the role

As our Scientific Learning & Talent Development Specialist , you will be responsible for the full management of training and talent development programmes for Bionet employees.

You will work closely with scientific, technical, engineering and people teams to identify learning needs, design internal training initiatives, support talent growth and contribute to continuous improvement across the organisation.

This position combines scientific understanding, learning design, communication, recruiting support, talent development and relationship-building .

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate internal training and talent development programmes across the company.
• Design, organise, coordinate and deliver internal courses for technical and non-technical teams.
• Coordinate Bionet’s internship programme, ensuring a valuable learning experience for students and young professionals.
• Identify key profiles, development needs and opportunities for improvement within the organisation.
• Support continuous improvement projects by connecting technical challenges with people development opportunities.
• Participate in recruiting processes, helping to identify talent aligned with Bionet’s scientific, technical and cultural needs.
• Contribute to the company’s scientific relations, supporting connections with universities, research centres, technical partners and industry stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand technical and scientific challenges and translate them into effective learning actions.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a background in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioprocessing, Environmental Sciences or a similar scientific field , and a strong interest in training, communication and people development.

You are curious, fast-learning and able to understand technical topics quickly. You enjoy working with people, listening to them, understanding their challenges and helping them reach their full potential.

You combine global vision with attention to detail . You are comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You understand that technical excellence depends not only on knowledge, but also on communication, learning, collaboration and trust.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioprocessing, Environmental Sciences or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of the biotechnology, bioprocessing, life sciences or technical-industrial sector.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• +3 Years experience in training, teaching, technical communication, talent development or knowledge transfer.
• Strong digital skills and confidence working with collaborative tools, learning platforms and new technologies.
• Ability to understand scientific and technical challenges and translate them into clear learning objectives.
• Empathy, active listening and a genuine interest in people development.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage several initiatives at the same time.
• Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for innovation.

Nice to have

• Engineering or bioprocess engineering knowledge.
• Experience designing or delivering technical training programmes.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding or internship coordination.
• Familiarity with learning management systems, digital training tools or AI-based productivity tools.
• Previous experience in biotech, pharma, bioprocessing, engineering services or industrial technology environments.
• Experience collaborating with universities, research institutions or scientific partners.
