The Account Manager is an inside sales role responsible for contract value retention and growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services, as well as through net new account acquisition.

A typical day might include:

* Acting as a strategic partner to C-level and senior executives within assigned small to medium-sized organizations.
* Managing and renewing member research contracts.
* Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
* Strategically selling and retaining Gartner's advisory services to midmarket and emerging technology organizations.
* Managing forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

What you'll need:

* 15 years of experience in a professional setting, preferably with a proven track record in sales and a strong interest in technology.
* Bachelor's degree with demonstrated success in academic pursuits.
* Proven intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
* Strong computer proficiency.
* Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
