This role will be responsible for ensuring robust control over IT availability, information security, IT operations & change management, as well as IT governance and strategy.
The successful candidate will act as a second line of defense specialist, providing independent oversight and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), other applicable regulations, and recognized market standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Risk Governance & Regulatory FrameworkDevelop, maintain, and update the internal regulatory framework aligned with DORA, other applicable regulations, and industry best practices.Ensure the technology risk framework supports the organization's IT governance and strategic objectives.Information Security & Cyber Risk Oversight (Second Line of Defense)Identify potential areas of information security and cybersecurity risk from a second line perspective.Propose the implementation or enhancement of control domains, specific controls, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to prevent or mitigate information security risks, based on operational needs and regulatory requirements.Validate preventive and detective controls designed to mitigate key risk scenarios to which the organization is exposed.Collaborate in defining and monitoring action plans aimed at strengthening information security risk management and control maturity.Risk Advisory in Strategic & Transformational ProjectsParticipate as a technology risk specialist in cross-functional initiatives that may impact the Entity's risk profile.Provide risk assessment and oversight in the development and launch of new products and services.
Outsourcing & Critical Third-Party Risk ManagementManage outsourcing arrangements, including critical or essential outsourcing, both at onboarding and throughout the lifecycle.Perform continuous monitoring and periodic reviews, ensuring proper identification, analysis, and control of associated risks.Regulatory & Supervisory ReportingContribute to projects and regulatory submissions to Supervisory Authorities related to technology risk, operational resilience, and information security.
Were Looking For:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or Economics.For candidates holding a degree in Business Administration, Law, or Economics, a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Auditing, or Risk Management is required.* A deep understanding of the DORA regulation and EBA guidelines on ICT risk management and security is required.Preferred Qualifications: Holding one or more ISACA certifications (CRISC, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, etc.) will be highly valued. Demonstrated experience with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tools is also considered an asset.+3 years of proven experience in similar position within banking sector* Fluent English communication skills
