Booking.com is looking for an Account Manager with travel or hotel sales background to join our team in Palma de Mallorca on a permanent basis.

Additionally, we are a hybrid business with two days based in our Palma office.
Role Description
You will be supporting the Local Partner Services team in Palma de Mallorca. You will be responsible for informing and consulting its accommodation partners regarding their business performance, market opportunities and industry trends. You will empower partners on how to use Booking.com’s system, tools and available products with the goal of optimizing their performance on the platform and creating an exceptional experience for Booking.com’s customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
* Maintain a strong relationship with accommodation partners (i.e., visiting accommodations, contacting on a regular basis).
* Act on leads, partner feedback and information on competitor activity.
* Translate statistics and insights about Booking.com’s competitors as well as local market knowledge into relevant actions.
* Provide trainings to accommodations about the online reservation systems.
* Support in organizing Booking.com partner events and webinars, and participate in external events and trade fairs representing the company.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
* Significant experience in a relevant hotel or travel account management/sales/business development function.
* Proficient in spoken and written English and Spanish.
* Affinity or experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry.
* Proactive with a sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
* Accurate, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Team player, self-motivated, flexible and open to change.
* Driver’s license.
* Availability to travel up to 50% of time, with two days based in our office.

* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
