CulturA Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a pivotal player between accounting and treasury, ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting the CFO with various tasks. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
* Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and financial statements.
* Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
* Manage the financial planning and analysis function.
* Assist in the preparation of the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes.
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Oversee treasury operations.
* Enhance systems integration and automation, along with associated outputs.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Experience working in financial audit.
* Big 4 experience is desirable, but not required.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Netsuite and Salesforce is optional.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
