We are supporting a global leader specializing in producing premium paperboard and printing paper made from responsibly managed forest fibers in northern Europe. Our focus is on delivering sustainable, high-performance materials for packaging and publishing applications.
All products are manufactured with renewable energy from hydropower and biomass. Their mills operate with a strong commitment to sustainability and closed-loop production, ensuring materials are fully recyclable and biodegradable.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
* Work directly under the Manager for Sales Operations for Europe, leading sales initiatives for the new product lines across Spain and Portugal.
* Create a market in containerboard and maintain customer relationships and identify local market activities.
* Build on existing customer base and identify new opportunities for the portfolio.
* Execute and monitor the sales strategy to spearhead an expansion over the next 3 years.
* Manage and support key accounts across relevant regions, collaborating closely with European sales offices.
Key Requirements:
* University Degree or industry experience in corrugated/relevant field
* Hunter mindset
* Deep understanding of corrugated/containerboard industry, with familiarity across main segments such as pharma, food and cosmetics.
* Proven B2B sales record
* Strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach.
* Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
* Ability to travel regularly across Europe
