Company Profile
Our client was established with the mission of advancing the photonics market through the development of state-of-the-art, robust, and user-friendly frequency conversion systems. Headquartered in Castelldefels, Barcelona, the company was founded in July 2005 as a spin-off from ICFO (Institut de Ciències Fotòniques) and ICREA (Institució Catalana de Recerca i Estudis Avançats).
The organisation is focused on enabling innovation at the forefront of scientific research and advanced technology development. Since its inception, our client has developed a comprehensive portfolio of Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs) and frequency conversion systems operating across ultrafast femtosecond (fs), picosecond (ps), and continuous-wave (cw) regimes. This capability positions the business as a unique global leader in this niche photonics space.
Position: Laser Development Engineer
Overview
Our client is a globally recognised leader in the design and manufacture of advanced solid-state lasers and optical parametric oscillators. Their technologies are widely used in applications such as non-linear microscopy, spectroscopy, and cutting-edge scientific research.
Since its foundation, the company has built strong relationships with leading universities, research institutions, and laboratories worldwide by delivering high-performance and reliable solutions that support ground-breaking discoveries.
To support continued growth, our client is seeking a Laser Development Engineer to join their innovative and collaborative team.
