Background: PKL Services Inc. will be providing Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) Repair and Squadron Support Services on MH-60R & MH-60S aircraft in support of PMA-299 Naval Air Systems Command. All work will be performed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Rota, Spain. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award All non -Spanish National candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to apply Summary: The Logistics Specialist (MH-60) provides a crucial part of the Naval Supply system by providing material management services including issue, receipt, and storage of part inventory. Proper material management services ensure aircraft are appropriately maintained and mission ready. Other duties and responsibilities include: Order, store, check and issue repair parts and other equipment and goods. Locate and procure difficult to source parts upon request. Receive, sort, inspect and deliver arriving material. Maintain inventory databases and prepare reports and correspondence. Maintain financial logs and records. Operate computer systems that provide logistic support information. Manage inventories of repair parts/general supplies. May include collateral duties as defined on COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) Required educational/skills background: High school diploma or equivalent. Current US passport if not a citizen of Spain. 5 years’ current or previous experience in performing logistics/supply functions in a Naval Aviation environment. Past logistics experience in support of MH-60 helicopters preferred. Shall be able to obtain a NAS Rota base access card or Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC) card privileges to ensure access to flight line workspaces and critical information systems. If deemed by the Site Manager, this individual must acquire all Support Equipment licenses that are required for the position. Shall perform requirements in a manner that meet or exceeds CNAFINST 4790.2 series, applicable Naval Aviation Maintenance Program Standard Operating Procedure (NAMPSOPs), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and local NAMSOP instructions. Knowledge of naval maintenance publications. Proficient with NALCOMIS OOMA automated maintenance documentation system.
