Job Description
Main objectives include supervision of commercial teams (DFMs), implementation of commercial and marketing strategies, and optimization of operations to ensure operational efficiency through management, analysis, and reporting. The role involves analyzing performance data to adjust strategies and staff development, encouraging professional growth, identifying training needs, and promoting a healthy work environment (work-life balance).
Definition, validation, implementation, and follow-up of strategic plans and resource deployment in the area, primarily driven by a clear consumer focus with a 2-3 year outlook.
Participation and co-creation in the development of the strategic plan.
Responsible for achieving and monitoring sales, distribution, and visibility/merchandising objectives for your area. Requires flexibility and a proactive approach.
Periodic planning and analysis of sales data, distribution, GWP, visibility, and KPIs, evaluating results and compliance, while managing the strategic and regional plans. Supervise and assist in developing team plans and actions, recommending necessary changes to ensure results, strategy alignment, ROI, and resource optimization.
Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team, encouraging diversity and inclusion, maintaining a positive working environment, and promoting work-life balance. Ability to understand and manage emotions to facilitate decision-making and team management.
Coordinate and direct all sales actions in your area, establishing priorities throughout the year to ensure success. Identify and resolve operational and sales issues. Collaborate with other departments and ensure effective communication among the company's AFMs.
The Successful Applicant
Graduate and MBA (desirable).
At least 5 years of sales experience in FMCG, with 3 years managing sales teams.
Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
Skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
Knowledge of marketing and the ability to interpret market data.
Ability to manage sales and commercial strategies proactively.
Sector and industry knowledge (preferable) and familiarity with technological tools (CRM, etc.).
Decision-making skills and ability to maintain work/life balance.
Experience in coaching, people development, and talent management (leader-coach style).
Driving license is essential.
