Overview
Analyst IT Finance and Performance (m/f/d) at Fresenius Kabi. The role supports transparency, drives financial alignment, and provides insight into the performance of IT across the organization.
In this role you will design dashboards, deliver reports, and provide key insights that support financial planning, performance monitoring, and strategic IT decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Group functions to ensure data quality, consistency, and relevance. Your analyses will help ensure IT investments are well-managed and aligned with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards in Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to visualize IT financials, risk, compliance, and demand data.
* Deliver recurring and ad hoc performance reports for IT leadership and governance bodies.
* Prepare clear, well-structured presentations and materials (e.G., performance reviews, financial updates) using Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent, and user-friendly.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities across IT cost centers, projects, and services.
* Monitor actuals vs. budget, conduct variance analyses, and flag significant deviations.
* Analyze IT spending patterns to support cost optimization and strategic planning.
* Work with SAP ERP and SAC tools to consolidate and interpret financial data.
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) linked to IT operations, compliance, and risk exposure.
* Consolidate an enterprise-level view on IT performance, aligned with strategic targets.
* Prepare summaries and data-backed insights for executive-level stakeholders, including the CIO and CFO.
* Support the development of performance scorecards and maturity assessments.
* Provide data-driven input for portfolio reviews, governance meetings, and transformation tracking.
* Collaborate with project managers, service owners, and finance colleagues to align reporting with IT strategy and business priorities.
* Support the IT Portfolio and Transformation Management team with metrics and analyses.
* Liaise with Finance and Controlling teams to ensure consistency in financial data and methodologies.
* Coordinate with Group IT to align performance metrics, cost models, and reporting standards.
* Work with Data & Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of data models.
* Help harmonize performance reporting across business units and IT domains.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, IT reporting, or business intelligence.
* Solid working knowledge of Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP ERP, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
* Familiarity with IT financial models, total cost of ownership (TCO), and performance frameworks (e.G., ITIL, TBM) is an advantage.
