About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No audio engineering degree required — just good ears, attention to detail, and a reliable pair of headphones.

What You'll Do
* Listen to audio recordings and evaluate them for clarity, accuracy, and overall quality
* Identify issues such as background noise, mispronunciations, distortion, or unnatural speech patterns
* Verify that transcriptions accurately match the spoken audio content
* Rate recordings using structured evaluation criteria and rubrics
* Submit detailed, consistent feedback for each audio sample
* Work through batches of audio independently, on your own schedule
Who You Are
* A strong, attentive listener with the ability to detect subtle differences in audio quality
* Detail-oriented and consistent — you apply the same standard across every recording
* Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
* Comfortable using audio playback tools and browser-based interfaces
* Equipped with headphones or earbuds for accurate audio review
* No background in audio engineering or production required
Nice to Have
* Experience in transcription, voice acting, podcasting, or music
* Familiarity with audio quality concepts such as clarity, pacing, or pronunciation
* Prior experience with AI data labeling or annotation platforms
