This is a B2B/freelance contract role for someone based in Spain, fluent in English and Spanish.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Business Development Representative, who will play a key role in driving the success and continued growth of the company in the European region, with Spain as starting point and home base. The ideal candidate will take full ownership and be responsible for driving sales, in collaboration with a truly international team.
Responsibilities
• Identify new opportunities and retain and grow revenue from existing clientele
• Collaborate closely with diverse internal stakeholders on planning & executing sales strategy
• Assess competition and market potential
• Understand MOTABAQAH’s services & solutions for our clients and deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to them
Skills and Experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in a B2B Sales and business development role, preferably but not restricted in the field of conformity assessment, specifically in product certification, CE Marking, Certifications or a similar business
• Excellent understanding of European market and its dynamics related to product certification
• Proven track record in strategic sales development and market’s penetration
• Knowledge about SASO Technical regulations, Jeem1, Saber, Saleem etc. will be an added benefit
• Experience in product exports and /or international logistics is desirable
• Industry knowledge preferably but not limited to the following areas is desirable:
* Textiles
* Metal and Alloy sectors for Constructions and Buildings
* Bricks, Tiles, Ceramics, Sanitary Ware and relevant products
* Electric Batteries
* Footwear and their accessories
* Gas Appliances
* Food & Drug sectors including cosmetics
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
Qualifications & Requirements
• MBA, Master or Bachelor degree in Business administration or equivalent
• Good knowledge of MS office
• Excellent command of Spanish & English is required
• Travelling will be required and you should be based in Spain
Offered
Initially the focus will be on the Spanish market, with opportunities to expand to surrounding countries and then further into Europe. This opportunity is offered based on a freelance or B2B contract, initially for 6 months and part-time (ca. 50%). A fixed monthly fee will be offered, combined with a 2% commission on sales and holidays according to Spanish labor law.
