We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director (m/f/d) to oversee daily resort operations. This role is crucial for coordinating all departments, driving operational excellence, and enhancing guest satisfaction. The Operations Director will implement strategic initiatives to optimize efficiency, control costs, and uphold high service standards, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all resort operations, including accommodation, food & beverage, sports, recreation, and guest services.
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve guest experience, efficiency, and cross departmental collaboration.
* Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, licensing, and company policies.
* Promote a guest centric culture with high service standards across all departments.
* Analyze guest feedback, implement action plans, and elevate service standards continuously.
* Collaborate with F&B, sports, wellness, and hospitality teams for smooth daily operations and high customer satisfaction.
* Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
* Control operational expenses, focusing on cost reduction, resource optimization, and revenue growth.
* Implement and monitor cost control initiatives, including procurement, inventory, and labor management.
* Set performance KPIs for department heads and ensure accountability.
* Apply best practices and innovative solutions to improve workflows.
* Maintain facilities, equipment, and infrastructure for optimal guest experience.
* Oversee health & safety compliance, adhering to industry and legal standards.
* Act as the liaison between the resort and corporate leadership, aligning with company goals.
* Work with marketing, sales, and finance teams to drive growth and revenue.
* Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, suppliers, and authorities.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Operations Director, Resort Manager, or similar leadership role in hospitality or leisure industries.
2. Bachelors or Masters degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
3. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross functional teams.
4. Knowledge of hospitality regulations, health & safety standards, and legal requirements.
