Within our team, you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and overseeing GMV’s global Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and the continuous improvement of the corporate EHS system across different locations.
This role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, leading the evolution of the global model as well as its maintenance and effective implementation across our international sites.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Defining and implementing the global Occupational Health & Safety strategy, aligned with corporate policy.
2. Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations in the countries where GMV operates.
Coordinating the work of the OHS team and external providers.
3. Leading and coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring the maintenance and continuous improvement of management systems in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
4. Overseeing the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring proper corporate reporting and implementation of corrective measures.
5. Acting as the main point of contact with labor and environmental authorities when required.
6. Promoting a strong prevention culture and continuous improvement across all international sites.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
The main requirements for this position are:
7. Master’s degree related to Occupational Risk Prevention (Environmental, Health, and Safety), covering at least three specializations.
8. Proven experience in the areas of responsibility described above.
9. Fluency in English. Knowledge of other EU languages will be considered an asset.
