As a Service Technician, you provide technical support for our products, applications and service solutions to our customers.
In case a team is working at customers site one person needs to be the leader on site with the following responsibilities:
• The leader on site will be responsible for the wellbeing of Kardex employees, subcontractors and 3rd parties involved with Kardex Business
• The leader on site will be the liaison between Kardex Remstar and the customer and must ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance to local law and the core values.
Your tasks
Responsibilities
- Preventative & corrective maintenance of Kardex systems & solutions
- Complete jobs in a timely manner according to set quality standards
- Customer training (Operator, Health & Safety, Maintenance etc.)
- Generate leads
- Administrative management tasks (reporting, personal spare parts inventory, etc.)
- Provide remote diagnostics (via phone or remote connection)
- On-call service to customers
- PLC troubleshooting & diagnostics
- Basic Software troubleshooting
- Understand, promote and advise on Kardex Remstar products and services
Main Accountabilities
- Adhere to local Health and safety regulations
- Positively represent the company with all external & internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the performance of the team by displaying a positive and enthusiastic attitude, showing support and involvement in all activities
- Ensure all customer feedback is recorded in a structured and professional manner to support our continuous improvement culture
Your profile
Training/Education
- Good general standard of education
- Mechanic/ Electronic / Electrical degree / training
- CompTIA A+ of similar experience
Professional Experience
- Experience in field customer service
- Familiar with diagnostic methods
- Basic computer skills
- Technical / mechanical / electronic experience
- Experience with interfacing and integrating of mechatronic machines into software systems like warehouse management and ERP
- Experience in industrial communication (Field bus, Ethernet, etc.)
- Experience with onsite health and safety
