AIRBUS offers more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October.

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.

What does this internship consists in?
\n
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
\n
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
\n
The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:
\nTasks to be carried out by the student\n
\n
- Assist in data engineering tasks, focusing on building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
\n
- Contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our data architecture within a cloud environment.
\n
- Assist in the evaluation of the potential migration of specific data components from Microsoft Azure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), considering a multi-cloud strategy.
\n
- Participate in the creation, organization, management, and improvement of internal documentation for our data products and services. This includes understanding current data flows and technical specifications.
\n
- Investigate and propose automation mechanisms for data workflows and deployments, particularly within an AWS context.
\n
- Conduct comparative analyses of data technologies and services available on both Azure and AWS to identify potential benefits and challenges of a multi-cloud approach.
\n
- Collaborate in understanding Airbus's data governance processes and contribute to our team's better integration with these standards.
\n
- Support the team in monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and infrastructure.
\n
- Participate in the implementation of best practices for data security and compliance within cloud environments, in compliance with Airbus standards.
\n
\nKnowledge to be acquired by the student\n

- Practical experience in data engineering principles and methodologies within a multi cloud environment (Microsoft Azure & AWS).
\n
- Exposure to and understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the concepts of multi-cloud architectures.
\n
- Skills in creating and managing technical documentation for data products and services.
\n
- Understanding of data workflow automation techniques and tools.
\n
- Ability to compare and contrast different data technologies and services across cloud platforms.
\n
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and their practical application in a large organization like Airbus.
\n
- Enhanced skills in monitoring and troubleshooting data infrastructure.
\n
- Introduction to best practices in data security and compliance in cloud environments.
\n
\nWithin which projects or areas the internship will be carried out
\n
- The internship will be primarily within the Data Engineering team, focusing on projects related to optimizing our data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, exploring potential migrations to AWS, improving internal documentation for data products, and investigating automation possibilities within a multi-cloud context. The student will also be involved in understanding and aligning with Airbus's data governance processes.
