TITLE: Network and Security Architecture Engineer
DEPARTMENT: IT
LOCATION: Madrid, Spain
TYPE: Full time, Hybrid
OVERVIEW
The Network Architecture Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network and security systems within the IPC Network and IPC’s Cloud Services. They will ensure the security of these environments by protecting system boundaries and keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks by adhering to ISO27001:2022 standards.
1. 5 Years of Experience Required
Required experience and skills include strong knowledge of network architecture, router, switch, and firewall configuration standards, vulnerability management and penetration testing tools, SIEM systems, internet network practices and concepts, firewall technologies, encryption technologies, VPNs, security concepts, cloud services, Linux/Unix and Windows environments, web-related technologies, and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other teams within IPC. The candidate should also have demonstrated project management abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities of the Network Architecture Security Engineer include network architecture and engineering for the corporate and product networks, designing, developing, and implementing security vulnerability management processes and procedures, evaluating and testing network security systems, risk management and security assessments for cloud, corporate IT, and managed services projects, vulnerability analysis, security incident response, and maintaining network and security documentation.
