For our growing Automotive division in
Manzanares
(SPAIN) at the earliest possible date we are looking for a:
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Will lead the HSE operations and activity in the Manufacturing Plant, promoting a safeworking environment for employees and contractors and meeting all legal requirements for HSE issues. Will drive Technical HSE projects, implement the Company Management System, ensure internal and external audit processes, direct HSE programs and activities to ensure compliance with national and local laws and regulations and Company Policy.
Main responsibilities
Development and implementation of the HSE program, Company Guidelines & HSE Management System.
Ensure the definition and project execution of investments and resources necessary for the implementation of HSE programs.
Prepare and analyze the EHS KPIs and reporting, ensuring data quality and timeliness.
Join the internal audit program in the division in collaboration with Corporate / BU HSE, participate in audits when necessary.
Ensure the definition and implementation of action plans to resolve the findings found.
Assure that periodic risk assessments are carried out in order to evaluate and provide actions and resources based on the findings.
Confirm proper communication & investigation of accidents and incidents, definition and implementation of action plans.
Plant inspections, assessment of HSE conditions.
Maintain HSE technical competency through continuing education and propose necessary programs.
Ensure identification, verification and compliance with legal and other Company and/or Customer requirements.
Meetings with external companies, suppliers and local authorities when required.
Qualifications
University degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
Master in Health and Safety.
Knowledge in ISO 45001 /14001.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in an industrial environment.
Business fluent in English.
Proactive communication with colleagues and customers.
