Responsibilities:
* Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the PLC system.
* Maintain inventory and control upgrades to PLC / SCADA systems.
* Follow the SDLC procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM change control, implementation, and testing).
* Prepare and approve quality assurance plans and close-out reports.
* Partner with local site project teams to scope changes and prepare relevant documentation.
* Generate, execute, and approve protocols.
* Review and approve automation documents.
* Support field testing equipment and commissioning activities.
* Ensure implementations are carried out safely, with quality as a priority.
* Use and update development systems as required.
* Educate local project teams on automation standards, technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, and business processes.
* Ensure SLAs are in place for OEM systems with appropriate support backup.
* Build and maintain relationships with key OEM vendors to ensure supply reliability and cost-effective support.
Partner with internal IT departments (GIO, etc.) to ensure standard and secure implementations aligned with MSD Standards.
Core Competencies (Technical):
* Experience with applications such as Kneat, Siemens WinCC / S7, Aveva System Platform / Intouch, Aveva (OSI) PI, Microsoft 365, and Windows core.
* Experience with processes like WFI generation & distribution, building management systems, sterilization, blending, filling, packaging, and inspection.
