In this DevOps Infrastructure Engineer role, you’ll drive the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of resilient, automated IT infrastructure at Roche. You’ll apply software engineering principles to scale our Hyperconverged Infrastructure and support cross-functional teams across time zones. You’ll tackle complex technical challenges, delivering reliable platforms while staying ahead with emerging technologies. The role offers a chance to influence how IT enables better patient outcomes in a global, inclusive environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Manage platform lifecycles from inception to retirement with focus on reliability, capacity and performance
• Build self-service tooling and CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual toil and accelerate software delivery
• Ensure services meet SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and conduct blameless post-mortems and incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors across multiple time zones
• Keep infrastructure at the cutting edge by researching and applying technologies (Nutanix, VMware, Hybrid Cloud)
• Bridge technical requirements and business needs to support strategic initiatives
Responsabilidades
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
• Automation tools and scripting proficiency xpzdshu
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure internals, administration, and configuration
• Nutanix technology expertise and VMware vSphere proficiency
• CI/CD tools familiarity and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead in virtual teams
• 1+ year multinational work experience (essential)
