We are seeking a Finance Controls Officer and Manager of Environmental Reporting to join AXA Partners' financial teams.
You will be responsible for internal financial controls and environmental reporting, reporting to the Manager of Group Accounting & Tax & Finance Controls.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Internal Control Officer
2. Preparing group instructions on first-level internal controls related to finance within AXA Assistance.
3. Representing the finance team and liaising with the Risk Management team to align on risks and controls.
4. Defining controls with local finance teams and internal controllers.
5. Contributing to the implementation of controls in the Scala reporting tool.
6. Communicating IFC instructions from AXA Group and Risk Management to Finance teams.
7. Designing initiatives to improve financial data quality.
8. Ensuring proper execution of IFC controls, especially Scala updates with evidence.
Head of Environmental Reporting, IPA SA SII, and Reporting Obligations
1. Preparing environmental reporting instructions for the group.
2. Leading data collection from various contacts (HR, Operations, Procurement, carbon footprint indicators).
3. Checking data quality and consistency, requesting amendments, and validating files in PROGRESS for ESG reporting, then preparing CFO sign-off presentations.
4. Acting as the main interface between the Group Environmental Reporting team and local sustainability teams.
5. Coordinating group clearances and preparing environmental reports, analyzing KPIs, and explaining variations.
6. Reporting data in the group tool (Magnitude).
7. Serving as the environmental reporting contact for AXA Group.
8. Drafting data collection processes for environmental reporting.
Required Profile
1. Master’s Degree in Accounting, Controlling, or similar (mandatory).
2. Training in Effective Process Excellence.
3. Knowledge of environmental issues and reporting regulations.
4. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Excellent writing skills.
6. Experience in multicultural environments and fluency in English.
7. Strong quantitative, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
8. Excellent reporting, presentation, communication, and relationship skills.
9. Problem-solving skills and project management experience are advantageous, especially in transformation contexts.
