Position
Piping Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Defining 2D piping layout plans.
* Participating in the definition of pipe classes (PSI, DIN, etc.).
* Material selection and sizing.
* P&IDs : 3D piping diagrams.
* Involvement in procurement / purchasing phases (selection / validation of suppliers, evaluation of technical proposals, etc.).
* Calculation of stress and forces.
* Design / review of supports.
* Ability to handle all applicable work specifications, pipe classes, standards, and work instructions that may be necessary for proper performance.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for in you?
* Education: Industrial Engineering or similar.
* 5+ years of experience. Design management (coordinating designers, reviewing routes / isometrics, supervising support plans, etc.); Materials (preparing pipe and valve specifications, drafting requests for quotes / technical data sheets, reviewing supplier documents).
* Flexibility calculations and definition of special supports.
* Software: Caesar.
* Intermediate / advanced English level.
