Job Summary
This position sits within the Service Supply Chain – Enterprise Operations and reports to the SAP S4 and Global Process Manager, Service Supply Chain.
HP's Service Supply Chain supports a low-volume, high-mix environment with extended product lifecycles, enabling service delivery through parts availability, repair, refurbishment, and material circularity. The organization is undergoing a multi‑year digital transformation to build an adaptive, industry‑leading, and technology‑enabled supply chain.
The Global Process Owner (GPO) – Logistics, Customs & Compliance plays a critical role in driving end‑to‑end process excellence across the Service Supply Chain. The role requires strong cross‑functional partnership with Logistics, IT, Digital Transformation teams, external partners, and other General Process Owners. The GPO must operate effectively in a global, fast‑changing environment and support collaboration across the Americas and Europe time zones.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Logistics SMEs, IT teams, external business partners, and Functional Global Process Owners to align on process strategy, design, and execution.
- Provide leadership in process governance, ensuring all process designs meet relevant Customs and Compliance regulations and support global operational requirements.
- Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement across the Service Supply Chain.
- Identify, influence, and support system enhancement opportunities, including SAP S/4HANA and related logistics capabilities.
- Collaborate across functions to resolve complex operational challenges and support escalation management.
- Contribute to digital transformation efforts by participating in architecture reviews, solution forums, and capability assessments.
- Maintain strong communication, alignment, and interlock with global stakeholders, ensuring effective governance and transparency across time zones.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience demonstrating strong competence.
- 7–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
- Solid understanding of global Customs and Compliance regulations.
- Proven experience in process leadership, process design, or process governance.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA logistics capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and drive alignment across diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Flexibility to support collaboration across Americas and Europe time zones.
