We are currently looking for a Project Engineer in our Barcelona, Spain office.
Role Overview We seek an engineer experienced in project management, either from a client or consulting background, to participate in a wide range of projects—from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and specializations:
Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering
Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial planning
Project preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, procurement
Project realization: project management, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational management
The Project Engineer's role is to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
Desired Skills and Experience Experience in project documentation, control, cost management, scheduling, and supervision
Comfortable handling tasks requiring various skills and prioritizing effectively
Experience across the project lifecycle: master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, contracting, construction management
Valuable experience in Food & Beverages sector and industrial environments involving process engineering, equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation
Knowledge of civil works, utilities, and process utilities
Experience with permitting and procurement is an asset
Experience with medium to large projects (>1M€ / >10M€)
Minimum Requirements Industrial engineer with specialization in Industrial Organization, Chemicals, Bio-Chemicals, Mechanical engineering, or similar
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in industrial projects, preferably in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries
Fluent in English and Spanish; French or German is a plus
Driver's License B
On-site presence in Barcelona; open to mobility depending on project needs
