The Seasonal Load Out Associate plays an essential role in the daily operations of Lukas Nursery. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently loading customer purchases into their vehicles, restocking heavy items, maintaining outdoor areas, and assisting with general upkeep around the nursery. Seasonal Load Out Associates work closely with the customer service team to ensure a positive shopping experience.
This position requires physical endurance, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is organized, enthusiastic, and proactive in problem-solving, with a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and team morale.
This is a seasonal, non-exempt position, offering full-time or part-time hours based on business needs, with weekend availability required. Seasonal employment duration will vary depending on the season and operational demands. Regular lifting of 50–70 lbs is essential.

Requirements
* Assist customers by loading plants, soil, mulch, pottery, and other heavy items into vehicles.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the load out area, pathways, and surrounding outdoor spaces.
* Help restock products and materials as needed.
* Safely operate carts, dollies, golf carts and other tools to move heavy merchandise.
* Work with team members to complete assigned tasks in a timely and safe manner.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines when lifting and transporting merchandise.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the nursery in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred but not required.
* Ability to lift 50–70 lbs. repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take direction.
* Must be able to maintain composure and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.
