Payments Business Strategy Senior Analyst
As business strategy senior analyst, you will be responsible for the development of successful strategies that will underpin the sustainable profitable growth of Outpayce. These strategic initiatives may range from building on existing organic strategy to identifying new, inorganic growth opportunities to meet the company's financial target of double-digit growth.
In this high impact role, you will work with Outpayce leadership team
and corporate functions (Finance, Legal) teams to plan, design, launch, and scale strategic initiatives aimed at positioning the organization for long-term success in the payments market. To achieve this, you will structure ambiguous problems, formulate and test hypotheses, assess long-term risk of strategic options, synthesize clear takeaways from complex analysis into clear recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Furthermore, you will have overall responsibility for providing strategic guidance and influence on all matters related to Outpayce growth strategy (for instance, assessing the impact of regulatory alteration), and act as a pivotal link between the strategy and the day-to-day operations of the Outpayce.
Key responsibilities
Payments Strategy definition:
* Liaising with the leadership teams, key technology leaders and external advisors to assess the commercial market opportunity and competitive landscape
* Translating the overall Outpayce vision into actionable strategic plan, with clear goals and OKRs
* Identifying opportunities / risks, key transformation enablers and capabilities required to execute the strategy
* Driving and facilitating decision making processes with cross-BU leadership team
Market analysis:
* Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
* Develop and maintain market sizing models and segmentation frameworks to assess TAM, SOM, and SAM for our products/services in target markets.
* Analyze customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
* Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
Representing Outpayce in corporate initiatives and cross BU projects:
* Actively participate in cross BU projects representing Outpayce Strategy
* Ensure alignment across BUs, and that impact on Outpayce of cross BU projects is known and effectively evaluated
The ideal candidate
* Bachelor's degree required; Masters/MBA or other advanced educational achievement highly preferred
* Experience in a strategy role (coming from strategy consulting firm or strategy areas in multinational environments)
* In-depth knowledge of Amadeus Company fundamentals (history, business, offer, strategy, technology and organization) and understanding of the payments landscape, including emerging trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics are desirable
* Strong understanding of the travel industry and influencing factors affecting the industry direction and players (technological evolution, regulation, competitive landscape ...)
* Actively grow knowledge of new business areas or trends impacting Payments industry
* Fluent English
