Assistant store director – commercial area

Mandatory requirements:

* Previous experience in a large retail environment, managing turnover above €8–10M.
* English level C1–C2.



From LHH Recruitment Solutions, we are managing an opportunity for an Assistant Store Director – Commercial Area for a retail company that is preparing a new store opening in the Torrevieja area. This will be one of the company’s highest-volume stores.


The selected person will join the store management team, taking direct responsibility for the commercial activity on the sales floor and playing a key role in achieving results from the very beginning of the project.


A high level of English (C1–C2) is essential, as the store has a strong international customer base. An English assessment will be carried out during the recruitment process.


Main Responsibilities

* Lead the commercial activity within the store, ensuring the correct execution of campaigns, promotions, and commercial actions.
* Manage product implementation, displays, and replenishment, optimizing category rotation and performance.
* Monitor commercial KPIs (sales, margin, average ticket, stock rotation) and make decisions focused on improving results.
* Coordinate section managers, ensuring commercial objectives and store standards are met.
* Guarantee a customer experience aligned with the company’s standards.
* Support the Store Director in both commercial and operational decision-making.
* Participate in team planning and organization.
* Supervise the correct operation of the store in terms of order, product availability, and visual presentation.


Requirements

* Previous experience in retail in positions with store responsibility (Assistant Manager, Department Manager, or similar).
* Experience working with commercial KPIs and business performance indicators.
* Commercial mindset with strong day-to-day decision-making skills.
* Experience managing and coordinating teams.
* High level of English (C1–C2 mandatory).
* Experience in high-volume retail or large-format stores will be highly valued.
