PSA BDP serves over 5, customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Your tasks:
1. Prioritize business development and maintain strong client relationships with new clients within Europe together with your EU project colleagues
2. Processing project and general cargo related enquiries and tender requests - ITB, RFI, RFQ
3. Demonstrate ownership and drive to support the implementation of strategic objectives
4. Expertly managing tender processes, working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class services
5. Skillfully negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors
6. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and industry professionals
7. Ensure seamless coordination and communication between sales and operational teams
8. Stay ahead of market trends, perform competitive analysis and provide valuable market insights
9. Trouble shooting / problem solving / claim management
10. Profit and loss accountability
11. Leadership Meeting customer requirements Set priorities Achieve growth of the account / business Manage the EU Project team
Your profile:
12. Nine years plus experience in project cargo forwarding, including breakbulk, heavy lift, international and container operations
13. A professional qualification awarded by an approved educational institution specializing in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
14. Commercial and operational experience in general cargo, break bulk, oversized and heavy lift (multimodal) shipments
15. Implementing a business development plan as well as directing all details of project delivery under your assignment
16. Willingness to travel on national and international business trips
17. Excellent knowledge English, enabling you to quickly find your way internationally
18. Computer literacy with Microsoft software applications and other leading market software applications. In-depth knowledge of electronic support tools for logistics operations
19. Analytical skills to develop logistics solutions
20. Strong leadership skills
