**Our client**: DeustoTech - Deusto Institute of Technology is the technological research center of the University of Deusto, located on the Bilbao campus, whose mission is to promote research, training and knowledge transfer at the service of society and industry. It is currently involved in 22 European projects (H2020 and Horizon Europe) and fosters a creative and challenging environment with international researchers and PhD students.
We are currently looking for a researcher with experience in Transport and Mobility area.
**Mission**: this person will be in charge of driving and leading transport/mobility analysis or modeling projects, coordinating multidisciplinary and diverse teams, collaborating with prestigious partners and contributing significantly to scientific progress in this field.
Going into more detail, he/she will be responsible for:
- Conceiving and designing project proposals at national and international level.
- Lead the projects execution coordinating multidisciplinary work teams.
- Establish links and collaborate with other national and international public and private entities.
- Promote the scientific dissemination of research results and their transfer to society and industry.

**Profile**:
- PhD in civil engineering, transport engineering or similar.
- Need to provide demonstrable experience in management and development of transportation and mobility projects, in one or preferably several of the following research lines:
- Transportation modeling and simulation.
- Analysis of user behavior.
- Mobility data analysis.
- Knowledge of transportation modeling software (Aimsun, Visum, Vissim, SUMO,...) will be highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain competitive funding for research, as well as experience in technology transfer initiatives.
- Knowledge of the national and European system of public aid for the financing of R&D;&I; projects.
- Scientific and/or technical publications such as articles in JCR journals or communications in national and international congresses.
- Stays in reference research centers.
- C1 level of spoken and written English.
- Optionally knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, C++,...) will be valued.
