Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Associate based in Europe to support business development and market expansion across the European region.
This freelance role is suited to an early-career professional with 2–3 years of experience after a Master’s or PhD who is interested in working at the intersection of life sciences, technology, and commercial strategy. The successful candidate will support regional sales activities, identify new opportunities, and help develop relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research institutions across Europe.
Key Responsibilities Market Development
* Conduct market research to identify potential pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic partners across Europe.
* Help identify priority markets and strategic opportunities within the region.
* Support the development of regional go-to-market initiatives.
Business Development Support
* Assist in building and managing a pipeline of opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research organizations.
* Participate in customer meetings, product presentations, and early-stage commercial discussions.
* Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation.
* Develop relationships with scientific, technical, and commercial stakeholders.
* Support outreach to potential collaborators, partners, and industry contacts.
* Assist with coordination of industry events, conferences, and customer meetings where relevant.
* Track developments in the European biotech and pharmaceutical landscape.
* Provide insights on regional opportunities, partnerships, and competitive activity.
Qualifications Required
* Master’s or PhD in life sciences, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, systems biology, or a related scientific field.
* 2–3 years of relevant experience in biotech, healthcare, consulting, or commercial roles.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fully remote and international environment.
Preferred
* Exposure to AI in biology, computational biology, or drug discovery technologies.
* Experience interacting with pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research organizations.
